This policy explains what AlreadyRan ("we") collects when you use alreadyran.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It is written to describe how the product actually works; if something here does not match what you see, tell us.
What we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Google or an email link we receive your email address and, from Google, your name and profile picture. We do not set or store a password.
- What you create. The prompts and settings you submit, the files you upload as references or as a workflow's input, and the images, video and audio generated for you.
- Credits and billing records. For every generation: the credits reserved, the credits charged, what was returned, and any credits owed or repaid. For every credit pack: which pack, when, its price and credits, and any refund. You can read these lines yourself on your Usage & billing page.
- Technical records. Request logs with a request id, time, status and address, kept to operate the service, investigate failures and prevent abuse.
- On your device. Your theme, language, sidebar state, your analytics choice and — while signed out — your starred items are kept in your browser's local storage. We use no advertising cookies; the analytics cookies are described under Analytics and cookies.
Analytics and cookies
To see how the site is used and where it can be better, alreadyran.com uses:
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager: which pages are visited, how visitors arrived and on what kind of device. It sets cookies such as
_gaon this site. - Microsoft Clarity: how pages are used — clicks, scrolling and recordings of visits. What you type is hidden from it, and your history, usage and billing, storage, account and canvas pages, your recent generations, the media viewer and your account details are masked. It sets cookies such as
_clckand_clsk. - Cloudflare Web Analytics: visit counts and how fast pages load, without cookies. It is not used for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask first, and Google Analytics and Clarity are not loaded unless you agree. Everywhere else they are on unless you turn them off. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page or here; turning them off stops them and removes their cookies from this site. None of these tools is used for advertising.
The free tools upload nothing
Split image, Join images and Audio trim run entirely in your browser. The files you open in them never leave your device and we never see them.
How we use it
To run the generations you ask for, to show you your history, to calculate and explain your credit charges, to keep the service secure, and to fix what breaks. We do not sell your data and we do not use your prompts, uploads or results to train models of our own.
Who else processes it
- AI model providers. To produce a result, your prompt, settings and reference files are sent to the third-party provider that runs the model you chose, and the result comes back to us. Their handling of that request is governed by their own terms.
- Payments. When you buy credits, Waffo Pancake, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, processes the payment and the taxes on it. It receives your email address and your payment details; card data never reaches our servers. We keep the order reference, the pack, the amount and whether it was paid or refunded.
- Infrastructure. Sign-in, database, file storage and content delivery are provided by cloud vendors acting on our instructions.
- Analytics. Google, Microsoft and Cloudflare receive information about your visit as described under Analytics and cookies.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Why we are allowed to
We process your account data, your content and your billing records because we need them to provide the service you asked for. We keep technical logs and prevent abuse because we have a legitimate interest in a secure, working service. Analytics in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland rely on your consent; elsewhere, on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site. Where the law requires us to keep a record, we keep it for that reason.
How long we keep it
A generated result is kept for a year after it is made if your account had the paid features when it was made, and for 30 days if it did not — settled at that moment, whatever happens to your account later; then it moves to the trash for 30 days, where you can restore it, and is deleted for good. Results you save to Materials are not deleted because of their age, and uploads stay until you delete them. Billing and purchase records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Technical logs are kept for a limited period. We keep encrypted daily backups of our database for up to 31 days, so something deleted can remain in a backup until that backup expires; backups are only used to restore the service.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Your uploads are stored privately and served only to you, through signed links that work only while you are signed in. Administrative access is restricted and authenticated separately. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you we will tell you.
Your choices
You can delete a generation from your history at any time, and turn analytics on or off with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can ask for a copy of your data, for a correction, or for your account and its content to be deleted by writing to support@alreadyran.com. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
AlreadyRan is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age your country sets for consenting to online services), and they may not use it.
Changes
When this policy changes materially we will say so in the product before the change takes effect.
