Overview

Sharpen and enlarge images without changing what's in them

The AI image upscaler turns a small, soft or compressed picture into a sharp, high-resolution one — up to 4K — while keeping it faithful: the same people, expressions, text, logos, colours and composition. It removes blur, noise and compression blocks and rebuilds fine detail instead of just stretching pixels.

Faithful first

An upscaler is only useful if the picture is still yours afterwards. The tool is told to keep every face, word and object as it is and to fix only quality: blur, noise, banding and the blocky artefacts left by heavy compression. It does not add objects or restyle people.

The same shape, the resolution you pick

The result keeps the proportions of your image — a 4:3 photo stays 4:3 and a tall phone screenshot stays tall — at the resolution you choose: 1K, 2K or 4K (4K first), or at its own size to clean it up without enlarging it. Nothing is cropped or stretched, and the credits under Generate follow your choice.

Use cases

Good uses for an AI upscaler

  • Old and low-resolution photos

Give a small photo from an old phone, a scan or a messaging app enough resolution to print or show full screen.

  • Product and listing images

Make supplier pictures and screenshots crisp enough for a product page, a banner or a catalogue.

  • AI art and designs

Take an image you generated or designed at a modest size and bring it up to 4K for wallpapers, prints and slides.

How it works

How to upscale an image

  1. Add the image

Drop in a JPG, PNG or WebP image.

  2. Choose the resolution

4K is selected first; pick 2K or 1K for a smaller file. If one part matters most, such as small text on a sign, say so in the box. The credits under Generate follow your choice.

  3. Generate

The upscaled image appears under the controls when it is ready; it usually takes under a minute.

  4. Compare and download

Switch between the result and the original, then download it or open it again later from History.

Pricing

How credits work for upscaling

Upscaling is one AI generation at high quality, priced from what the generation actually uses for your image.

The estimate under the Generate button is worked out from today's price list for an image of your shape. Clicking reserves the most it can cost; when the upscaled image is ready you pay for what it actually used and the remainder is returned to your balance.

If something goes wrong, the result area explains the reason and whether any credits were used. Problems on our side and images blocked by the content check are never charged.

AI tools come with any credit pack and stay available while your paid credits are valid; free credits are only for direct generation in the generators.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Didn't find your answer? Email us at support@alreadyran.com.

How big can the result be?

Choose 1K, 2K or 4K — 4K, about 8.3 megapixels, is selected first — or keep the image's own size. The result keeps the proportions of your image, and very wide or very tall images are kept to a 3:1 shape at most.

Will it change faces or text?

It is instructed to keep faces, expressions, text and logos exactly as they are and only to improve sharpness and remove noise. As with any AI tool, check small text and faces before you use the result.

Can it fix a blurry photo?

It can recover a lot of detail from soft, noisy or compressed photos. A photo that is badly out of focus or tiny may still not have enough information to become perfectly sharp.

Which formats are supported?

JPG, PNG and WebP images. The result is a PNG.

How much does it cost?

Credits are charged for what the upscale actually uses. The line under Generate shows the estimate for your image before you click, and the examples on this page show today's prices.

Where is my upscaled image saved?

In your History, alongside everything else you generate, where you can download it again at any time.
