Overview

Put your subject in a new scene

The AI background changer keeps your product or person exactly as they are — shape, colours, materials, labels and text — and replaces everything around them with a new scene. Pick a ready-made scene, describe your own, or do both — choose “Beach sunset” and add “with palm trees” — and the lighting, shadows and reflections are matched so the subject looks like it was photographed there.

Six scenes to start from, plus your own words

The ready-made scenes are a white studio, a marble tabletop, a modern living room, a natural outdoor setting, a city street at golden hour and a beach at sunset. Add your own description when you need something specific, on its own or on top of a scene — “a wooden kitchen counter with morning light” — and keep it to the place and the light rather than the subject.

The subject is not redrawn

The tool is told to keep the subject identical, including the text and labels on packaging, and to change only what is behind it. Because the new background is generated, check small print and edges before you publish.

Use cases

Ideas for new backgrounds

  • Product shots without a studio

Turn a phone photo of a product into a clean white-studio shot or a lifestyle scene on a marble table or in a living room.

  • Social posts and ads

Place the same product in several settings — a city street at golden hour, a sunny beach — for a set of posts or ad variations, each in the 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 or 9:16 frame it needs.

  • Portraits in a better place

Swap a cluttered room behind a person for an outdoor scene or a simple backdrop, without changing how they look.

How it works

How to change a background

  1. Add your photo

Use a JPG, PNG or WebP where the subject is clearly visible.

  2. Choose the scene

Tap a ready-made scene, describe the background you want, or both; tap a scene again to clear it. Keep your photo's shape, or pick 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 or 9:16 for a post, a story or a banner.

  3. Generate

See the estimated credits under the button, then generate the new image.

  4. Download or try another

Compare with the original, download it, or pick another scene for a different version.

Pricing

How credits work for new backgrounds

Every new background is one AI generation at high quality, charged by what the generation actually uses.

The amount under Generate is an estimate for your photo at today's prices, together with the most that can be reserved. When the image is finished you pay for what it actually used and anything reserved beyond that is released.

A version that fails tells you why and whether credits were taken. When the fault is ours, or our content check stops the request, nothing is charged.

Like the other AI tools, the background changer opens with any credit pack and stays open while your paid credits are valid.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Didn't find your answer? Email us at support@alreadyran.com.

Will my product or label change?

The tool is instructed to keep the subject's shape, colours, materials, labels and text exactly as they are and to replace only the background. Check small print in the result before you use it commercially.

Can I write my own background?

Yes. Describe it in the box under the scenes, on its own or together with a scene you picked — the place, the surface and the light, for example “a linen tablecloth by a window with soft morning light”. Leave both empty and the tool picks a setting that suits your subject.

Does it add shadows and reflections?

It is asked to match the lighting, shadows, reflections and perspective of the new scene so the subject sits naturally in it.

What photos work best?

Photos where the whole subject is visible and in focus. A plain or simple original background makes the result easier for the AI.

Can I get a transparent background instead?

Yes — use the AI Background Remover, which gives a PNG with a transparent background and keeps your photo's original pixels.

How much does it cost?

Credits depend on the resolution you pick and what the generation actually uses. The estimate is shown before you click Generate, and the examples on this page are worked out from today's prices.

Can I choose the resolution?

Yes: your photo's own size is selected first, or choose 1K, 2K or 4K. In your photo's shape the result keeps its proportions; in another shape, your photo's own size becomes the smallest of 1K, 2K and 4K that holds as many pixels as your photo, so no detail is lost. The credits under Generate change with what you pick.

Can I change the shape of the picture?

Yes. Your photo's shape is selected first; pick square 1:1, portrait 4:5, widescreen 16:9 or vertical 9:16 when the picture is for a feed post, a story, a banner or a thumbnail. The subject stays as it is and the new background fills the whole frame around it. Next to your photo you see the size the result will be before you generate.
