Overview
Make a video sharper, up to 4K
The AI video upscaler brings a clip up to 1080p, 2K or 4K and sharpens it, so footage recorded at a low resolution, saved from an old phone or exported small holds up on a bigger screen. Choose the resolution, upload the clip and get a sharper version you can download or find later in History.
1080p, 2K or 4K
Pick the resolution you want the video to reach, measured by its short side: 1080p, 2K (1440) or 4K (2160). The shape of the clip stays as it is. A resolution lower than your clip's own is greyed out, since it would not make the video any sharper.
Priced by the length of the clip
Upscaling works through every frame, so the cost follows the clip's duration and the resolution you choose. The tool reads the length of your video before anything is uploaded and shows the estimate under the Generate button.

How credits work for video upscaling
An upscale is one AI job whose cost follows the clip's length and the resolution you pick.
Before you click, the line under Generate gives the estimate for this clip and the most that can be reserved. That amount is held when the job starts and settled to what it actually used when the video is ready, with any difference returned.
Video jobs take longer than images. You can leave the page while it runs; the result waits in History. If the job fails, you'll see the reason and whether anything was charged — failures on our side cost nothing.
The video upscaler is one of the AI tools that come with any credit pack and stay available while your paid credits are valid.

Which resolution should I choose?
4K gives the sharpest result and uses the most credits; 1080p is often enough for social media. A resolution lower than your clip's own can't be picked.
Which videos are accepted?
MP4 and MOV videos up to 100 MB and 60 seconds, no larger than 4K. A clip the tool can't take is turned down with the reason, and nothing is charged.
How long does it take?
It depends on the length of the clip and the resolution. You don't have to wait on the page — the finished video is saved in History.
How big is the result?
Its short side becomes the resolution you chose and the shape stays the same, so a 1280 × 720 clip becomes 1920 × 1080 at 1080p, 2560 × 1440 at 2K or 3840 × 2160 at 4K.
How is the price worked out?
From the clip's duration and the resolution, using today's price list. The estimate is shown before you click and you are charged for what it actually used.
Can I upscale a video I made with the AI Video Generator?
Yes. Download it from History and upload it here, or use any MP4 or MOV you have the right to edit.
